20th Annual Women’s Memorial March

Join your Students’ Union and walk together.

February 14th at 1pm, Main and Hastings.

Meet at 12:30pm in Thornton Park by the Main Street/Science World Skytrain Station.

The first women’s memorial march was held in 1991 in response to the murder of a woman on Powell Street in Vancouver. Out of this sense of hoplessness and anger came an annual march on Valentine’s Day to express compassion, community and caring for all women in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, Coast Salish Territories.

Please visit the Women’s Memorial March website to find out more.

We hope to see you there!
