Today’s announcement is an important step in the right direction.”
Today’s announcement has received overwhelming support from the environmentalist community including the Dogwood Initiative, Wilderness Committee, David Suzuki Foundation, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, Fraser Basin Council, BC Health Communities, CUPE, The Polaris Institute, Council of Canadians, Sierra Youth Coalition and Canadian Federation of Students.
